Our Alamo Adirondack Chair is similar in design to the original Adirondack chair, but not quite. Actually, it is a whole lot more comfortable, with a Texas flair. It is built completely from solid wood - no plywoods, veneers, or particle board are used. All joints are glued with an exterior wood glue and screwed together. The finish is a Behr exterior water-proofing/wood stabilizer mixed with 50-50 linseed oil. Quite a unique and truly Texas chair. Limited quantities not to exceed 2000 units.
Our Alamo Dining Chair is designed in the same style as the Adirondack, but with a straight back. Matched with the Lone Star Dining Table, it is quite a unique set for either a more rustic indoor setting or outside as the coolest picnic table in the neighborhood.

The Alamo Adirondacks can also be stained and finished in the color of your choice. We've used Minwax® Water-Based Wood Stain as the first coat, followed by the Minwax® Helmsman® Spar Urethane.

We've also designed three variations on the classic Adirondack Chair: the Alamo Adirondack Love Seat, the Alamo Adirondack Rocker, and the Alamo Adirondack Love Seat Rocker. The love seat shown here is made of white cedar.
